On the daily and weekly chart, Ichimoku provides a complete trend picture in a single glance: the cloud colour signals macro bias, TK cross confirms entry or exit momentum, and the Chikou Span gives a clean structural confirmation. When price is above a bullish (green) cloud on 1D, the bias for position long trades is clear without constant re-evaluation.

The 20/50/200-period EMAs form the backbone of position-trading analysis. The 200-period EMA on the daily chart is the single most-watched line in crypto: sustained price above it separates bull-market positioning from bear-market exposure. Death cross (50 below 200) and golden cross (50 above 200) are the coarse regime switches that position traders act on.

Weekly MACD histogram direction is a reliable macro momentum filter. The fixed-range volume profile over a prior major swing high or low shows exactly where the market has done the most work — the high-volume nodes are the levels where price tends to stall or reverse on the next visit. Position traders use these nodes to set limit entries on pullbacks and define key invalidation points.

Position traders hold through multi-week noise that shakes out shorter-term participants.
